TELEVISION:

A public television station in Novato, California is broadcasting Dave's music during their public service announcements.  The station is known as NPAT Channel-26 (Novato Public Access Television).  Tune in to this station on Channels 26, 27, or 30 to hear a wide variety of music performed by Dave on his Vega Vox banjo with Gary Neuman on piano.  We have learned that they are playing Dave's recorded music 3 or 4 times a day and it is getting rave reviews.

PRIVATE PERFORMANCES:

YEAR TO YEAR  --  As mentioned on Dave's primary Web page, Dave performs for the elderly and infirmed.  These performances are at senior and long term care facilities, extended care homes, and homes for the aged and infirmed.  They comprise about 90% of Dave's musical performances, and number near 30 solo concerts a month.  These are understandably not open to the general public for obvious reasons.  Dave is in demand by all his friends at every one of these venues because of his kind approach to entertaining these folks.

CHANGES:  Keep checking this page for updates to the above listings.  We are endeavoring to keep current at least at the first of every month; hopefully, more often.                 - Updated 7/17/09 -

(Dave & Ray, er uh, Dave & Andrew, uh oh, Ray, no Andrew - - -Oh, the heck with it!)

Cafe' Greco on Columbus Street in San Francisco has the best coffee 'in the world.'  Dave introduces everyone to this very fine establishment.

Over the Labor Day weekend in 2005, Miyoko and Her Tokyo Traditional Jazz Band performed at the Wine Country Vintage Jazz Festival in Rohnert Park, California.  This is in Sonoma County, the heart of winery belt in Northern California.  Dave Marty was invited to join in for a couple of songs at each of Miyoko's 7 sets over a 3-day period.  Here are some pictures from the last set.

The collage above represents some of the unique times for Dave over the past few years.  Headlining at festivals, playing for old folks enjoyment, getting together with old and new friends, and lending a hand supporting other banjo players are examples of  Dave's insatiable desire to always be a part of the banjo community, and take the lead as his contribution.  As we find more pictures that have this same value, we will post them here for your enjoyment.
